Eeveelution teams seem more popular than ever too. I know some of them are good, and it's nice they FINALLY gave Flareon FB (even if it does die quickly enough anyway), but I don't get it? Sylveon is p.cool, and Umbreon is still decent at his job, Vaporeon too. Not heard the others doing much. (Other than Magic Bounce Espeon <3)
Jolteon might be the best eeveelution He is only outsped by 10 pokemon and tied with speed with 5 and that's including deoxys and all his forms and mega-evolutions. His SP.atk isn't shitty as well. Only downfall is his movepool (That became worse due the Hidden Power nerf and the inability to learn signal beam outside Black 2) and his poor HP and defence (Does have a decent Sp.def) That said, If you don't have a electric resist or a priority user then Jolteon can clean up teams with Choice specs T-Bolt or just be obnoxious with volt switch. Being immune to Electric and actually gaining HP back really helps too. And if you really REALLY hate rotom you can switch in on a electric move and use Synchronoise to easily 2HKO a defensive rotom or even OHKO a offensive set without fearing W'oW. Even a offensive set can't OHKO Jolteon without rain.
Don't think there is a better late-game sweeper to be honest. XY did give BB-Talonflame and Aegislash which are both capable of doing the same thing although Talonflame durability is ruined by rocks and Aegislash can't shadow sneak kill everything without setting up first so it will get worn out eventually.
Flareon has killer attack and it's Sp.def good too, but because everything else is crap it still can't do jack.
Vaporeon (Or at least the way I play it) Is a annoying pokemon. Scald, Wish, Protect, Toxic and Leftovers is my set with Max HP and mixed Def/S.def giving him a equal amount of bulk on both sides. Toxic stall is a bitch and I can heal my other walls of switch a sweeper in that I know doesn't get OHKO to get it back to full. It's Sp.att even without any investment still packs a punch and that's why I feel that Vaporeon>Umbreon. Umbreon might have better defenses but it can't damage anything without Foul Play.
Espeon has teh bounce. The same Sp.att and speed as gengar. Can learn Psyshock and psychic giving a dedicated wall a run for it's money. It can use dazzing gleam to deal with obnoxious dark types, Shadow ball to deal with ghosts or you can use a Calm mind set.
Leafeon is better than Flareon but having only Leaf blade as decent stab move and 5 weaknesses that are really common on a lot of pokémon that easily outspeed it really isn't that good. If you have sunlight up it does outspeed but without Woodhammer it really isn't as dangerous as it can be.
Glaceon has the same problem but it's typing makes it slightly better attacking wise. I use Max sp.att/ Max Speed + Choice scarf during hail. Blizzard becomes 100% Which is pretty much my tactic during double battle. Abomasnow/Glaceon Double Blizzard. It also has enough bulk to withstand at least one hit when it is outsped. (Which is often if it isn't scarfed.)
Sylveon is pretty much Vaporeon with less HP but a higher Sp.def. Typing-wise it's better than vaporeon. Because it's HP is lower and it's ability is a lot worse than Vaporeon it can't be used as a wish passer. It does have the same movepool as Espeon, same Sp.att as jolteon and with only 2 weaknesses and 4 resists it can use more than one set arguably making it less predictable that any other Eeveelution.
I still think we should have gotten a Dragon eeveelution. Would have fitted perfectly.
That's pretty much all the info I have about my team and Eeveelutions in general.
