Teh Gheys Thread

A good way to get brownie points is to make a CaS of your crush. Gamer or not, they'll love it.

Anyway I somehow ended up getting 187.00 on my card. You guys have no idea how good it feels to buy groceries for free with near impunity.

Sophie, you seem to be the HBIC of this thread so tell me: How many dates or prerequisites would a guy have to go through before formally being your boyfriend. Cuz I got a text today saying, "how did you sleep my love?" and I almost had a seizure worthy of an emmy. But seriously, is this dependant on the people or is there a specific time to become a couple?

P.S. Season 4 of Game of Thrones. Say whaaaat~

Aw thanks! I'm the Daenerys Targaryen of the gays.

Honestly, I think they'd have to have really drawn me in. I go out with guys because I like them as people, and because I feel like I can enjoy my time with them. Basically, if you like this guy a lot, I would say make him boyfriend, but I don't really know your situation with this guy all that well. I feel like you should play along to some extent, but try not to fully commit until you decide whether or not you want to be this guy's boyfriend. I've had four official boyfriends, and three of them were pretty short and we called each other our boyfriends very quickly. However, the last guy I went out with before falling into the trap of the Adorable Dick two more times was very reluctant and wanted to take the relationship slowly, from what I inferred. It really depends on the people. I prefer moving past the weird awkward first few weeks as quickly and smoothly as possible. That's just me though, and some people enjoy those earlier parts of a relationship where you aren't so attached.

If you gave me more information on this whole thing, I could totally give you more detailed advice.

As labels are a societal construct and not an actual measure of affection, it's really up to you. Does it sound weird in your head to call him that?
