If I were to think with optimism, Namco may try to strengthen the popularity of the original SC cast to the audience.

With that, I hope this brings more genuine SC fans to the next SC series.

I don't think the devs really thought this out. The game is basically just SCV but you buy extra characters and tokens to play like Tekken Revolution. Problem with that is V has been out for so long that anyone who wants it probably has it already and anyone who doesn't can just buy it cheaply on ebay.

No, this isn't like SCV at all. Did you read anything? It's a single-player game, probably more like Soul Calibur Legends if I had to speculate.

I'm still waiting to see what Lost Swords actually is, but I would have preferred to see SCV updated along with having more single player content added to please everyone.

I think we all would, but we might as well just make the most of what is coming.
