Can't edit my own posts? WTF!!??

So I've experienced some trouble lately here on 8WR. I can't edit some of my posts, even posts on open threads. What's weird is that it's only some of my posts, not all. Example:

Notice the lack of an "edit" button below my post.

Why is this?

Why? I keep a log of all important information in the first posts of my threads, does that mean I can no longer do that?
