Xbox One isn't launching day 1 for Japan, they said Japanese users will be getting it in early 2014.
Btw, eliminating Used Games is not a bad thing completely, the positives are:
1 - You don't have to worry about your disc breaking, getting dirty / or getting lost.
2 - All you games are now on your Cloud save file, only associated with your account and / or console.
3 - You don't know how many times I have gotten a "disc read error!" during online matches, until I have to rip the game to my hard drive. Games being download only, really makes things easier and simpler.
4 - I saw Brand New games at Walmart for only $15-$20, so there will still be massive discounts for players who can't afford to buy games day one. And for those gamers that still could never afford to buy games launch day... well I guess it doesn't effect you then, other than waiting 9 months. I guarantee Amazon.com and Ebay will still have cheap deals on Brand New games like they always do. The only obvious negatives is not being able to hand your friends physical copies, which goes back to point 1, your friends could break, lose, or damage your discs anyways.
