I fought a drake! It beat the shit out my team and picked me up and dropped me and killed me! Also, it was the first enemy I've come up against that was strong enough to actually give me trouble. I fought a Griffin and beat the ever living shit out of it.

It's too bad you can't rent my girl, the things she can randomly do to a drake... She will either suck out loud or murder it outright. Chances are 50/50 either way. But when she murders one, it's a show.

Are there enemies that are stronger than a Griffin? I remember when I wouldn't want to fight a chimera and now if I see one I go out of my way to murder it.

Plenty of them but a Griffin is by far the rarest enemy in the game.
