Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

I don't know who that guy is or how he plays but I know good play when I see it. The fact that you guys could call that guy bad makes me wonder if you're able to do the same. So I'll ask: what makes him such a bad player?

i play against Hajin. he's the best Ayane i've ever seen. the ayane on that demo wasn't doing a lot of stuff that Hajin would have capitalized off of.

Oh HajinShinobi? I know of him. He's awesome. I played against the other amazing Ayane, XDest and yeah they would have played rings around that Kasumi player. What I noticed was that the Ayane player was just playing in response to how the Kasumi player was acting, namely string-delays to attempt CH fishing and whiffing quick pokes such as her i9 jab (which admitting isn't really the best thing to do against Ayane). Overall I don't think the video was intended to be an expert display of DOA5 high-level play but moreso a showcase of DOA5/DOA5+.

....but the kas player is really really bad....nuff said!
Say Force..are there any Footages from you playing DoA on the net?
Somehow im curious how your Ayane is =)

I can't speak on behalf of the Kasumi player since she's only a sub for me so I won't really comment much on their play. Unfortunately there isn't any footage of my Ayane on the net, though we could play some time if you like.

I kept rewatching the match and asking myself that question. I knew there was obvious metagame at work in those 3 rounds. The Ayane player did fine except for a couple bad reads. The only thing I would criticize was the lack of aggressive zoning. I.e. zoning with 3H+K or whiff punishing with 4H+K. Instead the player opted to simply "turtle", which also happened to be the correct course of action to defeat that Kasumi player. Some nice throw punishes in the 3rd round too.

i'm sorry that I hold Ayane to such a high standard. i think a lot of people do that when they face the best or really good players. like i know one of the best Lei Fangs. i face others and i hold them to a high standard. or at least i feel like the match is easier if i'm not facing someone who isn't as good. that's just me though.
