Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

I'm generally getting sick of this sort of thing. Why is it the super ultimate version of a game comes out only after A: The regular edition broke my heart or B: I have paid for a version that sucked. I feel like developers don't care enough about their reputations to release games when they're actually finished or about me the customer not to use me as a source of mid-stream revenue or to bilk me. It's as though I paid 60 dollars for the honor of being a beta tester. Why was this not the FIRST and only version of the game to be released?

In a weird, twisted, backwards sort of way, I actually think that Hayashi thought that Ninja Gaiden 3 was a good idea, then the reviews rolled in...

I appreciate Team Ninja's effort to improve upon the shortcomings of NG3 with the Razor's Edge edition, but they should've taken more heed to the very vocal outcries against the very, err.... questionable design choices in the game (It's like they forgot what made Ninja Gaiden Black or Ninja Gaiden Sigma so awesome).

Razor's Edge currently being a WiiU exclusive at the moment is also irksome considering that the core content was developed on the PS3 & 360, and shouldn't be that difficult to produce considering that this game is essentially a fix-patch + extra content. Though, of course, I say give it some time.

So I'm rather curious as to why Nina Gaiden 3 is considered so terrible. I've played Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 through rentals, and I've never actually owned the games, so I'm aware of how they play, but... I still don't know why 3 is so reviled.
