Hi guys, I'm Bill! Picked up SCV a couple months ago after playing at a friends, used to play lots of casual SCII back in the day. After getting endlessly slaughtered on ranked, I dropped it for a couple months, but I'm jumping back in now and am looking to improve. I play Hilde, and I'd like to learn Viola and Tira (though I understand Viola is somewhat frowned upon, no?) Anyway, I'm pretty novice, the biggest hurdle I face right now is taking less than a decade to trigger my Critical Edge haha. Hoping to meet some cool people here!

Im not going to rebuttle because I have never tried to learn her, but most of the people I know who are really good with her ,but dont main her, tell me how easy she is to pick up.

I think it's the other way around. Yes, Viola is overpowered. No character should have touch of death combos, under any circumstances, period. Most of the workarounds are a joke. "CE her when she does this. See? It's punishable!" Great, so all we have to do is have enough meter to CE everything she throws out? It's just that simple! However, where we disagree is that it takes a lot of time and effort to get good with Viola. Some people will tell you this is a fair exchange, those people are delirious. However as deserved as any hate is it actually takes some effort to earn that hate.

wasnt a debate, my friend. It was information for the newbie. I was simply letting him know how most of the community feals about VIola, and the other fine gentleman who responded was giving him a counterpoint to look at. So, because what I said was relevant to what Bill said, I dont see the point in you fealing like you needed to warn me and Ghengis. But sorry, nontheless, if it did get your attention.

Wasn't even a debate let alone an argument and it definitely wasn't a flame war. You seem to have misinterpreted the situation. What's more Bill asked about Viola being frowned upon. You seem to have missed that. I should know better? I object to that! I'm an idiot and I have witnesses to prove it!... Wait! I mean, I should know better? I should shouldn't I? So how about the benefit of the doubt? If I had to worry about people misconstruing me at all times I couldn't post at all. As it was me and Mayuri were perfectly civil and I thought his last point was a fair one, maybe if I had said as much the convo wouldn't have registered on your radar.
