The end is near. X-mas of 2012.

I will be getting a Hori arcade stick and a new pair of slippers this Christmas. I will be getting my friend a PS Vita memory card, and I plan on getting my mother a winter themed coffee mug. (^_^)

In the spirit of giving I'm going to give advice on how you can do Christmas shopping this weekend. I work at Macy's so if you plan on shopping there you'll want to read this.

There's a one day sale (that lasts two days) beginning on Friday. Friday will be less busy than Saturday. There are morning specials (crazy low prices) before 1:00 pm on both days. If you want to avoid the crowds shop before 10, preferably before 9. There are also Wow Passes that you can take from newspapers and catalogs or get one on your smartphone. You'll get some money off if you spend enough on a certain amount, but I'm not sure if morning specials apply towards the total.

I will be getting nothing for Christmas and that's fine with me. I'm an old man now and if there's something I want I don't wait for a certain day or anyone else to get it for me. I just work for 3 months so I can get that spectacular $20 gift.

BUT if someone were to ask me what I want, it would be for people to commit to WinterBrawl and Final Round as early as possible and actually show up.

The only way we're getting anything new for this series is to show that we as a community are behind it and support it besides the money that was spent on just actually buying the game.

If we were to have 50+ for Winterbrawl and 90+ for Final Round I'd die a happy man knowing I got the best Christmas present I could receive.

edit~
Also a new dual system Hitbox would be nice also (Hint Hint...)

Anybody seen this?

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2012/03/french-town-overrun-with-doomsday-visitors/

Apparently rumors have circulated online that this town, for some unknown reason, will survive the 12/21/12 end of the world. The town has been so overrun with nutjobs people seeking shelter from the apocalypse that the mayor has shut down all tourism in the town. On a Yahoo article I can't find again they said the locals were eating it up making all kinds of souvenirs to sell to the people, with one winemaker making an "End Of The World" vintage and a "Survivor" vintage to go on sale in the weeks following the special date.
