Yes I've played them all. Not gettting the new one though, can't really stand it.

You should really the demo a chance game play is amazing!! Dante almost feels the same. But for Virgil I can understand.

Dm3 was so hard that they made a special edition 6 or 8 months later with a easier 'normal' mode.

I did play the demo. The combat was indeed awesome, major improvement over 4, but the rest of it I couldn't stand. I've already posted a rant about it in the DMC thread so I'll leave it at that. Also I had both versions of DMC3.

I played both versions of DMC3 and the special edition is awesome solely for Vergil. Dat Vergil and dem judgement swords are too good.

Aw, makes me wish I had waited for the SE after buying the regular edition one week before it was released, unaware of there being an SE. Jerkbag ;_;

Oh definitely. Also in the SE they had a gallery so you could watch all the cutscenes without playing through the game again. I don't think the difficulty nerf was necessary but all the stuff they added in was well worth it.

Best cutscene in the entire series!
