The best games you've never heard of.

Not sure if too late to post and not sure if well known game. but impossible creatures for PC was absolutely amazing. Playstyle is very similar to starcraft. The big difference is your creatures are animals and you mix the body parts of two different animals. It was really weird and awesome. Think about animals from spykids 2 island of lost dreams :)
 
Folks talking about Battle Arena Toshindin in here makes me a happy camper. Also Dark Savior, Clockwork Knight 1 & 2, Scud the disposable assassin and Legend Of Dragoon were pretty underrated games as well.
 
I honestly haven't met a fellow RPG player that hasn't heard of or played Legend of Dragoon. I wonder why it never got a sequel.

I think Thousand Arms and Shining Force Neo are some underrated games too.

Legal issues and the whole team disbanding are the reasons why we never got a sequel, there are literally thousands of petitions sites for LoD2 but Sony can't do anything about it. Of course they know that a LoD for PS3 would sell quite a lot considering that LoD remained as the best seller PSone classics for over a year (right now is in second place, FF7 took first again), but not having the orginal team and copy rights is a huge deal.
