Doing that in rush hour just means some jackass *WILL* cut into your lane and try to get in front of you, meaning you'll be held up longer and so will the lane that jackass was in as he's too stupid, hasty, and narrow-minded to realize constantly changing lanes is only a method for self-gratification rather than accomplishing anything remotely productive. Usually if there's stop and go traffic in my area it's because all but one lane is closed, which sucks because it's usually 4 or 5 lanes that have to merge into one. If some jackass tries to pull in ahead of you you can just let them in and create more space or speed up so they have to fuck off.

It sounds like people in your area actually know driving involves looking at things other than screens. For that I'm envious. It's not exactly rare for people to try and force their way into another lane, even when doing so would indeed cause a wreck if the person in the other lane wasn't completely focused for even a split second. Yeahyeah, lots of people all over the place are bad drivers...But it's ridiculous here. I can't even count the number of times I've had to swerve to avoid some dipshit because they were too busy watching a movie on a dashboard-mounted screen to stay in their own lane. I thought that was a rare thing the first time it happened -.-

I want some new laws regarding driving. No one can until they're twenty-one and your license is instantly revoked when you hit sixty or have a single wreck that was your own fault >.>
