Well there are trillions of planets, its no surprise that the one that can bare life, bares life.

and then you see something like this

and wonder, does it really matter?

I will admit looking at pictures of super cluster complexes is amazing. Even smaller things like doing the 900 on a skateboard I find amazing...but that's not the point.

The point I am trying to get across. Is that for atheists, this is enough, they're content with this. But for theists, it isn't enough. They perceive more and so pursue more...beyond the universe...the source of the universe. And that's where we differ. Yes the Universe is filled with millions of complex systems working in unison...and that's mind blowing. What's even more interesting is the power that keeps them functioning, while accounting for each infinitesimal particle.

I think you're assuming too much. First, you assume that because Atheists don't believe in a God doesn't mean we don't pursue knowledge and understanding. You're saying that a whole group of people are just content with the answers in front of us. That's like me saying everything a religious person needs to know is in a religious text and they're content with that. One could even make the argument that since atheists have to find their own answers they have to perceive more and so pursue more. Then, you assume that God keeps things going. Maybe because the bible tells you you already know. But there are people out there not satisfied with explanations without proof. And God or not there are plenty of things we don't know about our own world let alone the Universe. Some Christians I've spoken to at least resign themselves to the possibility that God doesn't have an active role in keeping Physics and existence going. It may all be a machine that God started and then left it do it's thing. But why should I care. I'm just a imperceptive atheist with no ambition.

I hate the whole argument that atheists pick an easy, almost cowardly choice in denying the existence of a being greater than themselves and out of their comprehension.
Well it takes a lot of bravery to deny the comfort of a warm afterlife and accept full responsibility for the world we live in. I think that when we die, that's it, and that idea sure wasn't fun to accept.

But for theists, it isn't enough. They perceive more and so pursue more
I don't agree with this either. Realising that the things you've been conditioned to believe from a young age aren't convincing enough and disregarding the nice Bible teachings about how you'll be rewarded for your actions in the afterlife, just so you can pursue a scientific explanation of a world which has an abrupt, bleak ending; that is a difficult pursuit of knowledge too.

In Science, they say that energy cannot be created and can only be passed on in a other form. Well in order for the big bang theory to work something must have created that ball of energy to explode.
*chuckles*
Also I finished the entire bible and let me tell you this, the old testaments shouldn't be taken seriously most of it is made off Jewish tales.
Christianity is basically Judaism with the teachings of Jesus though (and believe me, the difference isn't anything big).

Also, I really want to make this clear to everyone:

ALL FORMS OF CHRISTIANITY ARE RELIGIONS, BUT THE INVERSE ISN'T TRUE, SO STOP ACTING AS IF IT WERE . BIG NEWS: THE WORLD DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND YOU.

LOL this post dosen't make any sense... Learn the big bang, learn the difference between Judaism and Christianity and than reply to my post properly.
