I'm enjoying Extend's new balance changes. I was able to trade in my old BBCS copy for $30 at ebgames which made the price much easier to swallow.

Extend is overall a great entry for people new to the series since it has the basic story line of CT and all of the CS storyline + DLC characters.

In Japan BB3 is coming near the end of this year or beginning of next, so expect it to localize soon after.

It's already been talked about in a few forums, namely Gamespot. Also http://shoryuken.com/2011/12/30/arc-systems-mori-wants-to-make-blazblue-3-in-2012/. Most people would speculate for the release date to be at the end of this year.
