Street Fighter x Tekken

I personally will gravitate towards players who prefer to play with them unequipped myself.

It's just a preference thing but I'm not a fan of "augmentations" when it comes to fighting games (you never caught me haunting Special Versus on Soul Calibur IV, for instance; though that is partially because my coolest custom outfit was also terrible statistically).

In terms of just raw fighting, I really like what the game presents but then you mix in the other stuff and it becomes too weird. I just want straightforward fights with some hot-swapping tag action, none of the fluff.
 
I wanted to play this game until gems were announced, and now I don't.

That's about it. It's just kind of dead to me. It's like anti-hype everytime more stuff comes out about it.
 
You guys let me down. I was just starting to get some hype for this thread. I thought that Madnis and ShinobiBrown would get the FLAMES a burnin' but nooooooo... My hype for this thread is dead. Everyone is all "I have understood you." Shit is lame.

Well Pocky-Yoshi, that was his first really 'out there' design which allowed the development team to decide that the sky is the limit with his design. Probably the reason it is his most popular one, it made the biggest impression. If Namco wants to make Yoshimitsu into a cigar smoking furry Lobster ninja now they totally can all thanks to Tekken 3 Yoshi.

On the topic of the gems now. I don't get who their target audience is anymore. I mean all tournament players will be repulsed by the gems and it isn't exactly something so new that all the casuals will come in droves to experience. I mean its a crossover title, those can sell by name recognition alone. Why rock the boat? Anyway adding Toro is cool. Thats all I got.
 
I got this on pre-order. I am pretty much excited about this game. Ever since Cammy was announced in the lineup. >:D

Is it worth it for me to bump up from SD to CE of this game for the gems? Or should I just keep my pre-ordered SD version of the game?
