It's not the opinion that's the problem (that's it's own problem). It's the fact that it barely qualifies as English that I find hard to look at, and it fails at giving you any idea what it means on it's own. Even adding "up" to the end would increase the eloquence ten fold.

Language is mutable and changes with the times.

Using the dictionary definition of holocaust in reference to defending it's use with regards to animals is willful ignorance of how the language has changed and what it implies, in a tongue in cheek way. Shouldn't be done when talking about the mass slaughter of people based on their ethnicity.
