Yeah, he raced it in autocross and he broke a pushrod during it. Turned out the rod had been gyrating inside the shaft and bored a bigger, deeper hole... we couldn't fix that, but we did end up replacing all the rods, springs, etc., replaced the headers (racing, had to wrap 'em manually), and I sawed off the old exhaust pipe myself with a reciprocating right under the car... no lifts or anything for the entire job...

Only thing I wasn't there for was replacing the camshaft. 'Course now his frame's bent and he can't drive it all without risk of damaging... everything. Anyway, point being I realized that working on cars is very rewarding work.
