Libertarians don't do themselves any favors when they pick freaks like Cynthia McKinney as their main candidates. :P

Wasn't she the candidate for the Green Party, not the Libertarian party?
I wasn't too familiar with her, so I looked her up. I read a good amount and she is a major radical who plays the race card like its all she has.
I saw her June 10, 2007 speech, and she is a bit a nut.

I think Obama is doing an infinitely better job adressing the race issue in a more moderate way to gain the appeal of most Americans.

Bob Barr is the Libertarian candidate and he is your standard Libertarian candidate that preaches a total free market and everything else you might expect a Libertarian to preach.

He is not a freak so much, but the Libertarian platform is still much more right wing than most voters really connect to.

@D_Matt_Ma

is there a reason why you dont like obama?

I'm not in this country to get by. I don't want it easy. I want it to be as hard as possible and I want to be EXTREMELY rich. At the end of the day, the candidate that makes it harder for those that are weaker than me and make it easier for me to be rich is the one I vote for.

Obama promises EASY. The things I don't believe are rights: Home ownership, retirement, health care, raising a family. You earn these. THEY ARE NOT RIGHTS. You don't get them simply for being a person. I know... I'm a TOP TIER heartless conservative that eats stupid liberals for breakfast.

a modern conservative belief, nothing wrong with that.

I just wanted a reason. I hate it when threads turn into one line "yes or no" without explanation.

Personally I'm going to start looking at 3rd party candidates. I've been reading Ron Paul's book and its really good and brings up alot of great topics. He has been urging everyone to consider third party and I'm of the belief that there is no such thing as "throwing away your vote" so f it.

There was a time where a Third Party actually counted... It can happen again.

I would say that it is odd to look at Ron Paul (Very Right Wing) after seeming like an Obama Supporter(Somewhat Left), but I am the same thing.

As for Obama, he is guilty of wanting income redistribution, and I will agree that there seems to be a problem with many far right economists that believe in a free market. I am not a huge fan of it either, but Obama has said that he will put his focus to the middle class and the working class, the majority of the people in the United States. It could hurt investments, but be have a consumer recession, and that means we need richer poor people.

McCain. Obama supports Abortion, his supporters are racist, he's had a freeride his whole life, his wife is only proud of America because of barack's position, AND he's a racist.
