that's fine and dandy. i'm just sayin that when you say alcohol tastes nasty, I find that slightly wrong and a misguided thing to say especially when there are so many alcoholic beverages available. you know? and not just cocktails either. i mean if it's about tastes, then yeah.. there are so many cocktails in this world that i'm sure you can find one that would suit your fancy. i'm more inclined to believe that you had a drink that didn't suit your tastes and you decided to judge all alcohol based on that. i mean seriously, if you drink coffee you can drink a white russian. and i hate coffee, but i can drink a white russian.
in my pov, simply because there are so many types of drinks out there, i can't buy that you don't drink simply because you believe it tastes nasty. you haven't tried every drink in this world. I'll buy "you haven't found your drink yet, and i'm not interested in looking." But i find that to be rather close minded of mind you. to not try something new simply because of a preconceived notion on how something tastes. i mean i can't force drinking on you. and i'm not saying you should be drinking. if you don't want to, you don't have to. But i am saying though i respect the fact that you don't drink, i just can't accept your reasoning behind it.
saying you have a low tolerance is a more respectable answer than tellin me some bullshit like, "i don't like alcohol because it tastes nasty." really? you tried every drink imagineable and none of them suited your fancy? i find that difficult to believe. if you were more specific i can respect that. like, "i don't drink beer because it tastes nasty." or "i don't like drinking whiskey or rum straight because the taste is horrible."
that's doable.. alcohol is just too broad.
