T6BR tier list

hey just want to clear up some things regarding blocking:

Auto guard is generally not a great idea. some attacks force you to actively guard, like someone mentioned. however, against pitbulls it can be useful, taking your mind off blocking and to look for a hole in your opp's offence, like a SS or low parry opportunity. but for the most part, you should just forget that it even exists. block with B.

and if you've been hit by the first hit of a 10-string, you can't auto block the rest.

low parrying is the best option in 2 cases: strings with lows in them but that don't end with lows (think Hwoarang or 10-strings); lows that are otherwise not launch-punishable. if those situations don't apply, then block low and punish. or you can interrupt/crush the low with a hopkick or something similar.

blocking 10-hits: all 10 hits have one or two points where there is a low parry window. you don't need to learn the whole combo in order to defend it, you only need to learn to recognize that it's indeed a 10-hit they're using, and where the low is so you can parry that ish.

you can't get hit by a high or mid if all you're doing is holding back. however, repeatedly pressing or tapping back will make you backdash, and you are vulnerable during that time and maybe even a little while after that. if you're curious about back dashes, go to TZ's T6 forum and find a thread called Jap/Kor Translations, or something like that. there's a good description of how to perform BDC in there.

i thought to block low is simply D/B. you might be able to get away with just D, but i don't think it's as reliable. any way, it makes more sense as D/B. i don't know what you guys are saying with lows being neutral guarded... what does that mean? you have to be inputting something to block low.

anyway, happy T6ing!

<3 ID. I uploaded every1 to the spreadsheet now. The sheet names scroll really slowly at the bottom so when you wanna switch characters I suggest going to View -> List view.

I've closed off public editing right now for maintenance.

What are E, F, G, H , and I?

Is it bound, block, hit, counter? I have no idea what the last one is.

hey thnx a lot for that. The thread also helped me out a lot ill have to try that.

Random question if im holding back to guard wud i be able to do anything like spam a grab break whilst guarding like you do in sc4? I have no idea how to see what hand grabs u they all look the same to me. Add sum input lag and throw breaking might as well be impossible on reaction to me online
